Perhaps their biggest "name" act was Sally Rand (1904 - 1979)

from above, I wonder if the "tour" Doc was on was an early JBR one?

   

In March 2024 I heard from Deborah Shalosky, and Doc Benner was her second cousin, and she
inherited these photos from circa 1944, and I love that she shared them with me for my site.
I included the descriptions from her email.

Correction: Betty Cope is second from the right, not left.
