Gotham Video

In 1989 Gotham appeared in a series of benefit shows at The Bottom Line in New York City. The series was dedicated to the renown cabaret club of the 1970's, Reno Sweeney. Here is one of their numbers (4:00).

The show series were AIDS benefits organized by Marsha Malamet (who, with Michael Callen
and Peter Allen, wrote the classic "Love Don't Need A Reason"). Both Michael and Peter
appeared in the show, along with a who's who of cabaret and the entertainment world, including
Barbara Cook, Karen Akers, Janis Ian, Jimmy Webb, Phoebe Snow, Sally Kellerman,
David Lasley, Alaina Reed, Lesley Gore, Geraldine Fitzgerald, and many, many more.
